Bio
Like many of you, Award -Winning vocalist Aaron Unthank has worked hard over a number of years for the opportunity to make music. Originally from St. Louis, MO and singing since he could walk, he continues to do what comes naturally. Over the past two decades he has sung from coast to coast across the US in various venues.
He formally studied music at Evangel University, where he began playing piano and writing songs. He has collaborated with songwriters from Nashville, TN to Palm Beach, FL. His soulful style was nurtured by his love of Gospel Music.
During a brief stay in Memphis, TN, Aaron spent the summer studying with the first family of Memphis gospel music at the Jackson Studio of Music. Simultaneously, he studied classical technique with a renowned teacher just back from the European opera circuit.
Aaron now makes his home in Jacksonville, FL where he is immersed in the music culture as a performer and teacher. When he is not on the road performing his music, he keeps busy playing and singing in local venues.
His solo EP is entitled COURAGEOUS.
